Welcome to ANZCA 2017.

The Department of Media and Communication (MECO) at the University of Sydney is proud to hold the annual conference of ANZCA and welcome you to the city of Sydney. ANZCA 2017 will take place between 4 and 7 July, 2017.

This year’s theme is Communication Worlds: Access, Voice, Diversity, Engagement, which is aimed at attracting stimulating and engaged scholarly debate from a broad range of scholars associated with the Australia and New Zealand Communication Association (ANZCA).

Please visit here regularly for information updates and information related to this year’s ANZCA 2017 conference.

The Australian and New Zealand Communication Association (ANZCA) brings together researchers, students, and teachers from an expanding array of communication disciplines. Established as the Australian Communication Association in 1980, the trans-Tasman character of the association was formally recognised in 1994. The Association encourages and promotes scholarship in the broad field of communication teaching and research and supports vital forums for communicating research. These include the annual conference and two journals, Communication Research and Practice and Media International Australia.
